Confederation of Indian Industry ( CII ) is conducting Kerala Venture Capital Summit 2012 will be held on 2 March 2012 at The Gateway Hotel, Ernakulam-Kochi-Cochin, Kerala, India.
The Background :
Finance is the lifeline of business. A business firm requires finance to commence its operations, to continue its operations and for its expansion and growth.
Kerala, a state blessed with literate, English speaking population has a huge potential in terms of entrepreneurship and easy access to sources of funds through venture capitalists and angel funding agencies will encourage entrepreneurs to invest in Kerala leading to the state’s growth and development.
The Convention :
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with Indian Venture Capital Association and Indian Angel Network is organising Kerala Venture Capital Summit 2011 to propel the ambitions of passionate Indian entrepreneurs while unlocking superior returns for the investor. Kerala Venture Capital Summit 2011 brings together the crème of the private equity / venture capital & angel funding agencies – Entrepreneur ecosystem to network, introspect and brainstorm the way forward.
Through this summit, CII Kerala aims to further promote the advent of venture capitalists and angel fund agencies into Kerala thereby directly leading to promotion of trade and investment in the state. The one day conference cum networking meeting will see industry experts and thought leaders discuss the financial options available for high-potential, high risk, growth start up companies as well as attractive financial options for new companies with limited operating history that are too small to raise capital in the public markets and have not reached the point where they are able to secure a bank loan or complete a debt offering.
